The Many uses of Tea Tree Oil.

In another blog post I shared recipes using tea tree oil for everything from cleaning to skin care & in between, & if you cruise around my blog any length of time you will find many other uses & recipes for tea tree oil. But so many of you asked for more. The brand of Tea Tree oil I will be using & reviewing today is Apothecary Extracts 100% Pure Australian Tea Tree Oil.Tea Tree Oil

Let me tell you right now one of my absolute favorite uses for tea tree oil is to put about 10 drops or so of Argan oil (or Jojoba oil) in the palm of my hand, add 2 to 3 drops of tea tree oil & rub into my hands, finger nails, feet, face or wherever & massage in, sometimes I also add a drop or 2 of eucalyptus essential oil as the 2 together are an amazing combo. This mixture can be used for rubbing on forehead & temples for headaches & migraines, on dry skin, rashes, skin issues, pimples, blackheads, acne, boils, burns, sinus issues, colds (rubbed on chest), sore throat (rubbed on throat), sore feet, sore muscles, on & on.

Many do use tea tree oil straight, it is a bit of a dryer oil so adding it to a carrier oil works best for most & some can not tolerate it straight so again a carrier oil such as argan, jojoba, coconut, emu, rosehip, sweet almond, wheat germ etc would work great for mixing with tea tree oil. Tea Tree oil is best used on skin, massaged in etc, but can also be used in oral care & really is amazing for the health of gums & for oral issues.

Indications
Contemporary Uses: Tea Tree Essential Oil is best known as a very powerful immune stimulant. It can help to fight all three categories of infectious organisms (bacteria, fungi, and viruses), and there is evidence that Tea Tree Oil massages prior to an operation may help to fortify the body and reduce post-operative shock. Used in vapor therapy, Tea Tree Oil can help with colds, measles, sinusitis and viral infections. For skin and hair, Tea Tree has been used to combat acne, oily skin, head lice, dandruff, toenail fungus, yeast infections, skin tags, cold sores, dandruff, and ringworm.

Apothecary Extracts 100% Pure Australian Tea Tree Oil review:

I really like the purity & quality of the Apothecary Extracts tea tree oil, it has endless uses as you have seen. Many do not like the scent of tea tree oil & prefer to combine it with other essential oils like eucalyptus, lemon or lavender, me personally I love the scent & the coolness of tea tree oil & this Apothecary Extracts brand has that very natural scent of tea tree oil I have come to expect from quality brands. Some brands kinda smell rancid & off & so to me the smell is important. This brand also feels like a quality brand should, when you rub it between your fingers it does not feel thick or gooey, rather it feels like the dry oil it should be & absorbs in fast.

I am loving the large size of the bottle as well, we use a lot of tea tree oil & I really do hate to run out so a larger bottle is a must but it is harder to find quality brands that are affordable in larger bottles. So I am happy to have been sent the Apothecary Extracts tea tree oil for my honest review & to say yes I love it. And you will love it to.
