Ayurvedic Roast!Make sure to check Ayurvedic Roast online: Website , Twitter & Facebook

As I have shared before that there is only one brand of black coffee Organic or otherwise that I have found so far that I can drink without getting sick that I have found, so mainly I drink natural coffee substitutes.

Enter Ayurvedic Roast: I had never tried Organic Ayurvedic Roast herbal coffee before. This coffee substitute was recommended to me by a fan of my Facebook page. So Me being me just had to try it, especially after I researched & read about it. coffee 1So I contacted the Ayurvedic Roast at www.AyurvedicRoast.com And Andrew  has been very helpful in getting the product to me & the info needed to get this post on.

I picked the unflavored herbal blend, but it also available in Vanilla. What I love about the Ayurvedic Roast herbal coffee is unlike the other coffee substitute brands I have used, the Ayurvedic Roast is brewed, not instant. To me there is just something great about brewed even if it is not real coffee.

Brewing info from the www.AyurvedicRoast.com website:

How To Brew It:  Steep like tea or brew like coffee. Any way you do it, you’ll be getting a tasty and healthy caffeine-free

Ayurvedic

beverage!

1. Boil It in Pure Water: Add 1 tablespoon for every 1 cup of pure water, and boil about 5-10 minutes. Strain and drink. Straining is optional, as the grounds will be soft and are edible. The longer it boils, the stronger it gets. Serve with milk or cream, or soymilk, rice milk, almond milk, or coconut milk.

2. Coffee Drip Machine : This also works well, and produces a deep flavored cup. Use from 1 teaspoon to 1 tablespoon of Roast per cup (8 ounces) of water.

3. Coffee/Tea Press:  Pour boiling water into a coffee/tea press, and add the Roast. Then let sit for 5-10 minutes, depending on the strength desired.

4. Espresso Machine: Grind the Ayurvedic Roast in a coffee grinder, and then you’re ready for the espresso machine!

5. Just Pour Hot Water On It:  Pour hot water into a cup containing 1-3 teaspoons (based on desired strength), and let sit for 3-5 minutes. The grounds will get soft, and can be eaten, as they are the barley, rye, and chicory root. Healthy!

My Review:

When ordering online & mail order shipping is a very important part of the process & Ayurvedic fast & safely, A+ to thembest-coffee-substitute2

So I immediately opened the package, read the directions & brewed me a pot of Ayurvedic roast, I drank me a mug & 2 of my teen daughters had them a mug too. I drank the first cup just straight so I can get a feel for the flavors, I love the smoothness of this beverage & the warmth & relaxing effect. Right away I knew I was in love with the Ayurvedic roast & found myself worrying about running out before I can purchase more, yup worry when I have a almost full bag, it is that good.

My teen daughters love the full taste as well & every time they hear me brewing up a pot they right away ask if they will get a cup too. I even gave some to my 8 year old son when he was cold & hyper & it calmed him down, & he loved it & keeps asking for more.

So yes I do recommend you add Ayurvedic roast to your cupboard, either in the regular herbal or the vanilla or both. It would be great served to guests in the afternoon, served on cold mornings, or at anytime of they day. Or if you just want to sit & relax.

So tell all your friends & spread the word about this awesome coffee substitute, & drink a healthy alternative to coffee.

Let drink Organic Ayurvedic Roast herbal coffee:

As everyone knows I love adding raw coconut oil to my warm beverages for a healthy combo drink, & the Ayurvedic roast went OG coffee aamazingly well with a spoon of raw coconut oil. I also used Natural unrefined sugar, and a pinch of natural unrefined pink Himalayan salt for a tasty cup of yumminess.

I also love making my own homemade creamer & it went very well with the Ayurvedic roast coffee (creamer recipe in a future blog)

My daughter loved it with just a bit of milk & natural sugar.
