In teaching my daughter Culinary arts we were recommended this book, so I got it & I am so glad we did. Some of the needed supplies we do not have yet, but this book can be for as we grow & learn & we can even use it now. I like how The Sweetapolita Bakebook uses homemade recipes & we can tweak them to fit our dietary needs easily.
My daughter said she has enjoyed reading this book as much as she has enjoyed making the recipes. You can find recipes under the subjects, “Sprinkles Spectacular”, Wondrous desserts for the wee”, Sugar-coated cutout cookies”, For the love of layer cakes” , Essential baking & decorating techniques”, Prized Basic cake recipe”, Cutout cookies for decorating”, Frosting, fillings & more”.
My daughter has made several of the recipes so far & tried techniques she is incorporating into her learning. Her favorite recipe so far has been the “Simple & Splendid chocolate cake”. And I must agree it was so tasty & moist too.I would give this book 4 & half stars for the great recipes & the things we can learn from it.
