Beginner basic DIY multi-surface cleaner

If you are just starting making DIY cleaners you might feel a bit overwhelmed.
This recipe is a great one to start off with to clean almost everything in your home & is easy to mix up & use. Just do not use it on natural granite or stone.

What you need:

  • 16 ounce Spray bottle
  • Baking soda
  • Natural dish soap (or Original Blue Dawn)
  • Distilled white vinegar
  • Warm water

How to:

  1. Put 1 tsp baking soda into spray bottle.
  2. Optional: add 10 drops dish soap.
  3. Add 1 cup distilled white vinegar
  4. Shake the spray bottle just enough to mix.
  5. Let it sit for a minute & allow to stop fizzing.
  6. Fill  spray bottle with warm water leaving enough space to shake.
  7. Label Spray bottle.
  8. Shake & use.
  9. Optional: add a few drops of tea tree oil or pine essential oil.

Note: The dish soap is optional but is great to use for tough cleaning jobs, grease & grime.

  • Vinegar kills 99.9% of germs & the most common form of Staph, it kills 82% of mold spores, it kills 80% of viruses all while being so safe you can drink it.
  • Vinegar & baking soda are safe to use around food, children, pets & those with chemical sinsativities.
  • DIY natural cleaners do not lead to drug resistant bacteria  like chemical cleaners do.
