Info:

  • All below recipes can be mixed together in small bowl, apply to slightly wet skin/face & rub like you would with soap, rinse off or let sit a few minutes & rinse off. I mix right in my hand by adding to one palm then rubbing together. I also like to wash skin, then apply warm/hot damp cloth, lay over skin, let sit about 30 seconds then use the wet washcloth to clean the wash off.
  • I like to slightly wet my skin by misting colloidal silver or rose water on my skin/face first, but water works just fine.
  • I like to spray my face with colloidal silver several times a day as well for healthy skin, healing, soothing & extra zit fighting power.
  • One of the great things about DIY is recipes are guides, feel free to use more or less of items to suit your needs or to add or replace item.
  • Depending on time of year raw coconut oil may be solid or liquid, either is fine.
  • To create Borax water, add 1 tsp of Borax to 1/2 cup hot water, stir until dissolved.
  • Borax water can be used to replace castile soap in any of the below recipes.

(Buy Eucalyptus globulus EO or Eucalyptus radiata EO on Amazon)
  • Niaouli EO: Is analgesic, anti-rheumatic, antiseptic, bactericidal, febrifugebalsamic, cicatrisant, vermifuge, insecticide & stimulant. Due to niaouli’s disinfectant & antiseptic properties, it is used a lot in cosmetics such as lotions, creams, soaps & products for skin issues.  Niaouli is another one great to mix with eucalyptus & even tea tree oil, as a matter of fact it is similar to tea tree oil, like its milder cousin great for those with sensitive skin. Because it is vermifuge & insecticide it is great for issue like ring worm. And it is a a powerful yet mild, stimulating skin cleanser. Another benefit is niaouli stimulates the lymph system. It is also great for diminishing scars. (Buy Niaouli EO on Amazon)
  • Peppermint EO: Is anesthetic, antibacterial, antiviral, anti-inflammatory, insecticidal, antispasmodic & carminative. It has a soothing effect on skin during cleaning & a healing effect on healing skin. It can be strong for some people so avoid using to much, less is more. Mixes well with both niaouli or eucalyptus. Peppermint really leaves skin feeling clean, fresh & younger.(Buy Peppermint EO on Amazon)
  • The combo of Frankincense & Myrrh: Is antiseptic, antimicrobial, disinfectant, anticatarrhal, astringent, antifungal, anti-inflammatory, carminative, cicatrisant, cytophylactic, digestive, diuretic, emenagogue, circulatory, expectorant, sedative, stimulant, tonic, vulnerary & more. Just remember all these properties are from the combo of the 2 togther. A perfect combo in skin care & skin healing. (Buy Myrrh EO & Frankincense EO on Amazon)
  • Ylang Ylang EO: Is anti depressant, anti seborrhoeic, anti septic, aphrodisiac, hypotensive, nervine & sedative. Known for its mild pleasing scent it is a favorite in skin care & skin health. (Buy Ylang Ylang EO on Amazon)
  • Neroli EO: Is antiseptic, bactericidal, cordial, carminative, cicatrisant, cytophylactic, disinfectant, antispasmodic, deodorant, digestive, emollient, sedative and tonic substance. This is a citrus EO but for most people is a milder citrus for skin care (other options lemon EO, or sweet orange EO)
  • Cypress EO: Is astringent, antiseptic, antispasmodic, deodorant, diuretic, hemostatic, hepatic, styptic, sudorific, vasoconstricting, tonic & sedative. Great for skin issues, fungal infections, & overall skin health. Reduces inflammation & is soothing. I personally like it mixed with tea tree oil. This is good for sensative skin & wound healing. (Buy Cypress EO on Amazon)
  • Clary Sage EO: Is antidepressant, anticonvulsive, antispasmodic, antiseptic, aphrodisiac, astringent, bactericidal, carminative, deodorant, digestive, emenagogue, euphoric, hypotensive, nervine, sedative, stomachic & uterine. Great for skin cleansing & skin issues, as well. (Buy Clary Sage EO on Amazon)
