Here it is the recipe I have been promising to share, for those with stomach issues & a great way to get kids to take activated charcoal & for general health.
As all of you know activated charcoal is amazing, all you have to do is do a bit of research on taking it daily & doing detox poultices & more to know it is awesome. Make sure to also check out my blog post: (click here) Activated Charcoal – Do you know all of the amazing uses? – DIY and Beyond.
This is a recipe my 14 year old daughter created after I talked to Kimberly at BuyactivatedCharcoal.com & she told me about a activated charcoal cookie recipe she uses. You can pretty much add activated charcoal to most cookie recipes by just adjusting your recipe a bit. Cookies are a great way to deal with acid reflux, heartburn, stomach upset & more & if you know someone who is picky about drinking activated charcoal water or have kids this is a great recipe. We also make a great dog biscuit with activated charcoal I will share soon.
You can not taste the charcoal in the recipe, charcoal is pretty much tasteless but can be a bit gritty so it may be best to start off using 2tsp in your recipe until you figure out the amount that works for you. If the gritty bothers you the Detox 1600 powder is super fine & not gritty like the Hardwood Activated Charcoal powder is.
Activated Charcoal Peanut Butter Cookies.
The Peanut butter can be any brand you have on hand, crunchy or creamy. The same goes for all the ingredients you can use the brands you have on hand & you can even use your gluten free versions of the above like peanut butteretc for a gluten free recipe. Above all enjoy.
Side note peanut butter powder is also great in recipes
