As all my fans know I love Tropical Traditions & their Gold label virgin coconut oil I am in love with  every awesome product they sell. And again to tell you about another awesome Tropical Traditions product.  And I totally love that this product, the Peppermint Moisturizing lotion combines Virgin coconut oil with awesome essential oils like peppermint.

Available scents: Lavender, Arnica, Citrus, Baby Silk, Vanilla, Coconut, Peppermint & Unscented

I have tried several of the Moisturizing lotion scents, Arnica is great, we also love the Lavender & the citrus (& the Citrus Moisturizing cream I reviewed already), but you really have got the try this lotion in peppermint. It may just be our total favorite so much we have also gotten the Peppermint Moisturizing Cream  as well to carry in my purse. And my daughter loves it so much she says it is made of candy canes & dreams :) She says caution do not eat your hands!

Tropical Traditions Lotions & Creams are high quality & some of the best moisturizing products I have ever tried, we are in love with them. The Moisturizing Peppermint lotion is a clean fresh scent that covers easily, no need to apply to much, a little goes a long way. It is also effective helping dry skin to hydrate fast, we also like to use it in our beauty routine for making a DIY tingling face washing cream. Directions below.

Moisturizing Tingling face washing cream:

  • In your hand add a bit of Peppermint Lotion or Cream (maybe 1/2 to 1 tbsp).
  • Now add 1 or 2 tsp of baking soda & mix
  • Apply to wet face & wash, allow to sit several minutes & rinse off
  • Can be used skin issues, acne, pimples, blackheads, dry skin, oily skin, eczema, psoriasis, dermatitis & more.

You will totally love these moisturizing lotions & creams for so many uses, face, feet, hands, lips, body. So yes they are on my Cheree’s Favorites list.

How to Use Coconut Oil: There are hundreds of uses!

Organic Virgin Coconut Oil Moisturizing Lotions, information from website:

100% Pure for Hand, Face and Body with organic essential oils

Tropical Traditions hand-made lotions contain no alcohols, no artificial fragrances, and no petroleum products.

Provides a fresh, clean, uplifting and revitalizing effect to the skin. Ingredients: purified water, organic virgin coconut oil, organic jojoba, emulsifying wax (plant based, no soy), grapefruit seed extract, virgin palm oil, and organic essential oil of peppermint. Retail: $21.50 On Sale Now: $14.99

All of the Moisturizing Creams that Tropical Traditions offers are made with organic Virgin Coconut Oil and Virgin Palm Oil. No other products on the market are made with finer oils as their base. Tropical TraditionsVirgin Coconut Oil is traditionally made from fresh organic coconuts, and independent laboratory tests show that it has a higher level of antioxidants than other coconut oils.

Virgin Palm Oil contains high concentrations of a powerful form of Vitamin E called “tocotrienols” which published research has shown is 40–60 times more potent than alpha-tocopherol (the most common form of Vitamin E found as an additive in most skin care products.) In addition to these powerful Vitamin E tocotrienols, Virgin Palm Oil is also rich in natural carotenes. It is one of the richest natural plant sources of carotenes with concentrations of 500–700 ppm. It is 15 times more retinol-equivalent than carrots and 300 times more than tomatoes, for example.

Other Ingredients

In addition to using only the best oils available for the skin, all other ingredients used in Tropical TraditionsMoisturizing Lotions are 100% natural. Our hand-made lotions contain no alcohols, no artificial fragrances, and no petroleum products. Because we recognize that many have sensitivities to fragrances, we offer an unscented version. For the varieties that are scented, we only use high quality organic essential oils imported from France which are distilled with low temperature and low pressure over an extended period of time. Low temperature and lower pressure have proven to be the most effective method of obtaining all of the essential constituents from the plant, and provide our products with the very best quality fragrances available.

Description: Our 100% pure moisturizing lotions are especially useful for quick absorption into dry skin.
