If you are anything like me you constantly look for Eco-Friendly ideas, & ideas for reusing containers & avoid disposable containers. That exactly the type of research that lead me to the website for To-Go-Ware, right away I knew this was the type of company I wanted to tell my fans about & promote others using these kinds of products. As I cruised the To-Go-Ware site & read about the back story, Mission, & about the To-Go-Ware team, I decided I had to contact them about helping spread the word. So the package arrived & you would think my kids would have no interest in food storage, well you thought wrong, they were ohhing & ahhing & opening & closing & wanting to add food from the very first moment they saw it. Even my teenagers wanted a turn & came up with reasons to use it (Can you say “Teen Approved” list).
So next it was time to get to using Snack Stack Stainless Steel Food Carrier, first let me tell you, it is small but mighty, it held so much more than I thought it would, I got even more creative after I took the pictures. I Used it for soup, sandwiches, salads, Spaghetti, cookies, on & on & it worked wonderfully. We so need more of these to hand out to our friends, so for that reason they 
for sure are on my “Family Wishlist” & my “Cheree’s Favorites” list. Sp yes I recommend you get yourself a Snack Stack If you are a person that carries lunch or snacks every day or every once in a while. You can even use it for food storage in the fridge when it is not on the go.
I must add that every-time I looked with it got me all nostalgic for watching Little House on the prairie, & that is kinda crazy since these are so much more high-tech than the lunch pails Laura & her sisters carried, but for some reason that’s where my brain went. Yup I am possibly just in a nostalgic mood or something, But whatever it reminds you of reusing containers is so much better for the environment than plastic disposables & Stainless steal is so much healthier for you than plastic & BPA’s. If you ask me I will very fast tell you DIY green cleaning is down right amazing, then add to that how very rarely we do get sick & you realize DIY natural cleaning does not compromise our immune system & how well these cleaners are working. Have you noticed the same thing?
A DIY life: Glass, Windows, Mirrors, Chrome, Stainless and Surface cleaner recipes
Did you run out of your favorite cleaner or glass cleaner, did you know you could easily, safely & effectively make your own? And wait you can even reuse the old spray bottle if you prefer. just clean it really good with warm baking soda water & rinse well. Make sure to check out all my other DIY home cleaning recipes in my DIY Blog series on cleaning the whole house for more ideas.
For cleaning glass & mirrors you can use a 50/50 mixture of white vinegar & water or more or less of each or a below recipe.
Sometimes when you switch to this method for cleaning glass, windows & mirrors it will be cloudy, that is because glass cleaners actually have wax in them, so if you ever have that issue just add a few drops of dish soap to your homemade glass cleaner & then next time you should not need the soap because the wax should be gone. You can also add a tbsp of rubbing alcohol
Cleaner #1 ( For glass, mirrors& surfaces & can be used to buff chrome & stainless steel)
Large spray bottle
1 cup white vinegar
1/2 cup rubbing alcohol
Fill the rest of the way with water
Cleaner #2 ( For glass, mirrors& surfaces & can be used to buff chrome & stainless steel)
Large spray bottle
1 cup white vinegar
1 tbsp corn starch
fill bottle the rest of the way with warm water & shake.
Cleaner #3 ( For glass, mirrors& surfaces & can be used to buff chrome & stainless steel)
I love using Peroxide with a few drops of eucalyptus essential oil in a small spray bottle. This works better than most realize, some prefer just the peroxide straight as it makes a great glass & surface cleaner & shines metals. You can even just put a sprayer on a peroxide bottle & get spraying, shinning & cleaning all over the house. From stains on laundry, to a powerful cleaner for kitchen & bathroom, & even in the air.
Stainless steel cleaner
Put some coconut oil, olive oil or other oil on a dry wash cloth in a circular motions rub with the grain over Surface & buff (wiping off any excess).
Chrome Cleaner
What You Need:
White vinegar
Water
A spray bottle
A sponge or cleaning rag (dry)
Mix together equal parts white vinegar and water. Spray on & buff
Multi purpose spray cleaner:
Spray bottle
Straight white vinegar
Options to add: Use Citrus vinegar, essential oils. Works great on Windows, Mirrors & Chrome as well.
